Jabbawockeez’ MÜS.I.C. show has signed a deal with Monte Carlo Las Vegas to stay at the hotel though November of this year.

The Jabbawockeez first came into the spotlight after they won MTV’s Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew in 2008.

Donny and Marie Osmond To Be Headlining Act At Flamingo Las Vegas

Announced on Friday April 25, 2008, America’s favorite siblings will be Flamingo’s next headlining act. The 90 minute show highlighting Donny & Marie’s greatest hits is scheduled to open September 9, 2008.

Tickets for Donny & Marie are on sale beginning on April 28. Showtime is 7:30 p.m., Tuesday-Saturday with an additional Saturday matinee at 3:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $85, $99 and $115 (plus tax and fees). A limited number of VIP packages are available for $250 (plus tax and fees), which includes a special after-show commemorative photo with the stars. Spamalot at Wynn as Vegas to Close July 13

One of my favorite shows in Las Vegas, Spamalot, is closing down on July 13th. The show was based on the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail and has played over 500 performances at Wynn Las Vegas.

The show originally opened on Broadway in 2005, and like many other Broadway shows, didn’t bring in audiences as large as was hoped. The Producers and Mamma Mia! have both also recently closed.

Wynn is planning on replacing the show with entertainer Danny Gans starting February 2009. The entertainer is currently doing his one man show at the Mirage.

Spamalot Very Important Person Package

I saw Spamalot earlier this week and thought it was hilarious. If you are a fan of Monty Python, or just like a good laugh I would highly recommend it.

They have recently added a special Very Important Person Package that includes some royal treatment. The package includes a 45 minute, backstage “Secrets of the Grail” tour where guests will be able to take pictures with the cast, crew, set pieces, and props from Spamalot. You also get a commemorative Grail cup, filled with beer or a soft drink. The package is $159 and is available at 8pm on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The tour takes place immediately after the show.

It sounds like a great package, unfortunately they introduced it three days after I saw the show. Oh well, maybe I’ll take advantage of it next time I’m in Vegas.

Michael Jackson to Perform in Las Vegas?

Apparently Michael Jackson is contemplating doing a show at a Las Vegas Casino. According to his spokesperson,

Mr. Jackson has been presented numerous proposals — proposals which he has not solicited, but were presented to him, several of which include performing in Las Vegas. Mr. Jackson is currently reviewing and evaluating each proposal. He does not believe that he is under any time constraint for making his decisions.”

The “King of Pop” moved to Las Vegas several months ago, so it does make sense that he may do a show there. Could he be bigger than Celine?
