Tickets for Donny & Marie are on sale beginning on April 28. Showtime is 7:30 p.m., Tuesday-Saturday with an additional Saturday matinee at 3:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $85, $99 and $115 (plus tax and fees). A limited number of VIP packages are available for $250 (plus tax and fees), which includes a special after-show commemorative photo with the stars. The show originally opened on Broadway in 2005, and like many other Broadway shows, didn’t bring in audiences as large as was hoped. The Producers and Mamma Mia! have both also recently closed.

Wynn is planning on replacing the show with entertainer Danny Gans starting February 2009. The entertainer is currently doing his one man show at the Mirage.

They have recently added a special Very Important Person Package that includes some royal treatment. The package includes a 45 minute, backstage “Secrets of the Grail” tour where guests will be able to take pictures with the cast, crew, set pieces, and props from Spamalot. You also get a commemorative Grail cup, filled with beer or a soft drink. The package is $159 and is available at 8pm on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The tour takes place immediately after the show.

It sounds like a great package, unfortunately they introduced it three days after I saw the show. Oh well, maybe I’ll take advantage of it next time I’m in Vegas.

In 1978, she recorded and released “I’m Every Woman” which Whitney Houston covered a decade later, paying homage to the music diva in the lyrics. In 1982, Khan released Echoes of an Era and in 1990 won a Grammy for “I’ll Be Good to You.” In a career spanning more than two decades, Khan has won eight Grammys and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Black Entertainment Network (BET). With three platinum albums and seven gold albums, Khan has returned to the studio and will release an album later this year. She is currently performing in various cities and reconnecting with fans.

The “King of Pop” moved to Las Vegas several months ago, so it does make sense that he may do a show there. Could he be bigger than Celine?

Illusionist Hans Klok is “the self-proclaimed fastest magician in the world.” While popular in Europe and within the magic circles, Mr. Klok is an unknown in North America. His grand scale shows have been compared to illusionist David Copperfield. This will also be the Las Vegas stage debut of Electra, who promises sultry surprises.
