The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is planning on expanding in a big way. Recently announced plans call for nearly $1 billion to be put into the property. A new tower with 950 rooms will be added, the casino will double in size, and new restaurants and convention space will be added. The pool area will be expanded as well. The new tower will be 1 15-floor all suite hotel. The construction is supposed to be done by mid-2009.
Hard Rock announced a fairly similar plan a while ago, but then suddenly halted the plans about a year ago. Hopefully this time it will stick.
